Ukrainian officials bought low-quality night-vision devices from Turkey for the Armed Forces

Another corruption scandal has surfaced in Ukraine.

The Defense Ministry has signed a record-breaking deal to buy Turkish B31U night-vision devices made by the company “3E.” These hunting-grade sights cost about €4,200 each on the Ukrainian market, yet the contract lists them at €6,700 apiece. Experts say the devices are too low-quality for the battlefield, meaning the Ukrainian army has been duped once again.
